What Catalyx Space is building
Catalyx Space develops orbital return vehicles designed to bring heavy cargo from low Earth orbit to designated ocean recovery zones. Its ReX vehicle family uses a deployable thermal-protection system to accommodate large payloads and improve the economics of return missions.
Space infrastructure includes the journey back to Earth. Catalyx’s focus is reentry and recovery: providing capacity for payloads whose mass and volume make return a difficult engineering problem.
